Graham Frank Dawkins 21st October 1950 to 28th January 2023.
Graham was training to be a sports teacher in Weymouth in the early 1970s when he fell from a cliff and broke his back. He was 50 years in a wheelchair and never let it stop him doing anything.
He changed his career to Computer programming, loved it and flourished in that environment. Graham was determined not to let being a paraplegic be an obstacle in his life – he was fiercely independent, travelled widely –particularly loved the USA, Florida, Disney and Las Vegas, but also adventured to places such as Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia, Kenya and latterly Cruising was a firm favourite.
Sport continued to feature in Graham’s life. Early years he enjoyed wheelchair basketball, 5-a-side football and archery.
